Effect of RGO-Y2O3 and RGO-Y2O3:Cr3+ nanocomposite sensor for dopamine

Abstract The RGO-Y 2 O 3 and : Cr 3+ (5 mol %) nanocomposite (NC) synthesized by hydrothermal technique. structure morphology of the NCs were characterized X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission (TEM). Y :Cr displays spherical-shaped particles. Conversely, surface RGO a wrinkly texture connecting with existence flexible ultrathin graphene sheets. photoluminescence (PL) emission spectra showed series sharp peaks at 490, 591, 687 nm which corresponding to 4 F 9/2 → 6 H 15/2 , 13/2, 11/2 transitions lies in blue, orange, red region. prepared used for preparation modified carbon paste electrodes (MCPE) electrochemical detection dopamine (DA) pH 7.4. Both provide good current response towards voltammetric DA. Doping is an effective method improve conductivity developed sensor analytical applications.
